Instead of staying in and enjoying a quiet holiday, I was up early and ready to be social. I ran a 10K in the morning and then met up with my ALT friends in the afternoon. We met at the River Walk at Kokura and enjoyed good food, great conversation, and some Japanese culture.
It was a completely non-traditional Christmas, but it was perfect in its own way. I'm so happy I was able to spend the day with them.
